The Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness holds its annual meeting in the spring, a tradition that spans approximately 30 years throughout its incarnations as an established organization (formerly Association for the Anthropological Study of Consciousness and Association for Transpersonal Anthropology).
SAC Conferences prioritize inclusiveness and open dialogue to promote interchange between scholars from multiple disciplines, traditional practitioners, and others who seek a deeper understanding of consciousness from an anthropological perspective. Programs from many of SAC’s Annual Spring Conferences are available below. Where listed, click any Program or Call for Papers link for a PDF.
